Goulash According To My Mom

There is nothing fancy about this recipe.  And yet, that is where the genius abounds.  The tomato flavor seems to soothe my senses.  We make this a little soupy and not so thick.  This recipe is not overly spiced which makes this a great comfort food that I grew up with.  The smells remind me of home.

  1. Prepare macaroni according to box. Brown the ground beef with the onion, garlic, and green pepper. Salt and pepper to taste. Drain the meat mixture just a little. Add the tomatoes and bring to boil. Add the macaroni and let stand to allow the flavors to combine. Top with parmesan cheese.
